How to avoid gastric during fasting month...

The holy month of Ramadhan is coming and during Ramadan, millions of Muslims around the globe observe the act of fasting. Generally, Muslims who suffer from gastritis will have issues pertaining to their illness (including me!)

But no worries, don't make it as excuse to avoid fasting (unless its critical).

Here are some tips to avoid gastric during fasting month.

1. Suhur

Whatever your reason is, don't skip suhur since it will definitely help to prevent gastic attack. Eat something. Eating dates will help too! Drink some milk and consume some date. It will make you last longer and don't immediately go to sleep after suhur.

Give some time for the food to be digested.

2. Don't overeating when breaking fast.

As we complete the day, don't over eat when its time to break your fast. Eat moderately. You can start by having light food and then continue eating.

Start breaking fast with a dates might help.

3. Reduce

Reduce hot and spicy food. As well as acidic fruits like lime, lemon or even tomato based product as tomato-based products (tomato is technically a fruit containing a lot of acid).

As we know hot and spicy food tend to make your stomach upset.

4. Eat a lot of :

Carbohydrates or slow-digesting food at suhur example : bread, pasta etc. High carb will ensure that the food lasts longer, making you less hungry as well as more energetic for the day.

You can also eat dates, since dates are an excellent source of sugar, fibre, carbohydrates, potassium and magnesium.

Another option is almonds. Almonds are rich in protein and fibre.

Why not try ground almonds and milk =D

Lastly, eat Bananas. Bananas are a good source of carbohydrates, potassium and magnesium.

Happy Fasting =D
